I need to read more and will eventually subscribe (paid). A very focused site, and we need more of these, not ADHD all over the mappers like me. I wonder how much of Bjorn Lomborg makes his way in. So often the persons who claim to care about the world actually institute systems like noted here that hurt the poor, that hurt the world and that do not do any good. For some reason the idea that opportunity cost exists has been lost on everyone.
Jim is the real deal; he is standing firm for truth, rather than a curated reality. He has suffered in his job, was unjustly fired, was defamed and abused, all because he said that he would not tell a lie. His father, a judge, recently passed away. I am sure he looks down with pride on his son. We need more Jim McMurtrys in this world
