These civil actions are filed in federal court in the District of Columbia. These dozens of FSIA lawsuits filed successfully over the years document hundreds if not thousands of American deaths and maimings caused by Iran or its terror proxies since 1979.
I researched one site and found over 700 lawsuits against Iran. I just picked one, went through the court record, wrote it up and inserted it. So much family pain is seen even in the antiseptic court docs. Thanks for the advice, the only pain is not always found in the headlines.
Reading about the horrendous injuries suffered by those who died and by those who lived is difficult to anybody with empathy. Reading through the portions of these decisions where damages for pain & suffering are described and justified are heart rending, as gruesome bodily injuries are described in order to justify claims for financial compensation, rehabilitation, damages, and punishment.
So glad you wrote this piece. I find it incredulous to hear self-righteous leftists including Canadian and European political leaders try to paint the Iranian leadership as victims of Trump-Israeli aggression! Are they blind?
They are immoral, they are self-deceived, they are blind to the fact that the only thing that drives them is their hatred of Trump. I don't love Trump on every policy, but I am with him on Iran. I really, really believe that the health of a civilisation is how we treat Jews. I'm not kidding, literally.

The only action that might make them blink is another 9/11 or that nuclear option that Iran's mullahs would never hesitate to unleash. I hope this doesn’t end up without regime change. People criticize but they need to weigh the cost of status quo. That was 36k murdered.
