Agree, it is a con, of the snake oil type (and I'm not the first to state this) and Canadians have been and appear forthwith willing to accept it. So, whose fault is the result? The con artist or the public? Sad comment on Canadians.

Paul, the situation has worsened. Things are critical. If there is a spring election, then it's all hands on deck. In other words, it is time to get the kids to read.

When almost all the media is uncritical, we are in a lot of trouble. When the media falls for that Davos speech, we are essentially a country, outside of the National Post, completely sold on the Laurentian elites. I’m not optimistic.

His decision was sealed after Carney's Davos performance.
