I don’t know what you’re referring to regarding the satire. I’ve got a doctorate in law, I tell this to everyone I meet who’s automatically impressed that I’m an attorney and living in a small rural community there are very few of us; don’t be impressed. Make up your own judgement by what I say, I know a lot of attorneys and they’re so stupid I wonder who ties their shoelaces for them in the morning. You see the highest concentration of them in the judiciary. People mistake education for intelligence.

I have been appalled at the overt antisemitism in our Canadian colleges and universities, revealed since Oct 7, 2023. There are so many layers of Jew hatred embedded in our Canadian institutions like unions, political parties, schools, associations, etc that I was fully unaware of as a non-Jewish person until these past few years.
I’m incredibly disturbed for my children’s future that this is the Canada they are inheriting. I try to speak up as much as I can against this hatred. To me, “anti-Zionism” is the new polite and politically correct term of the same old ancient scourge of hatred - antisemitism.

It would be “unbelievable “ that this should happen, unless we knew the early history of anti-semitism with our ignominious prime minister refusing to allow Jews to enter Canada at the Avian meeting. The institutional structures arrayed against you describe a proto-communist state. True, we're not in Stalinist Russia here, not quite. But all the elements are there, and the direction is explicit - we are going further down this road, probably much further, and during your lifetime.
You are young enough and presumably have the resources that offer you choices, and they amount to getting out. Either to Alberta where you can enlist in the separatist cause and fight for a truly free and liberal (read, conservative today) society, or move to the US.
You have tasted the New Canada under Liberal governments and institutions. It's hard to see a place for you within it.
You’re a remarkable person who should never have been treated this way. It’s infuriating that the admin, HR were so derelict in their duties. I would try to sue the university, the union and that odious professor into bankruptcy for defamation, constructive dismissal, and more. Of course, in the ilLiberal Party’s Kanada, I fear the result wouldn’t be what’s legal or righteous either.
Thx. Because of being unionized, even though my union opseu has abandoned me I can’t sue. When your union dumps you because of politics you have really been thrown to the wolves. What annoys me is the hypocrisy- they are so cruel, I had trauma based injury from their defamation and they didn’t care a bit. They wear orange tshirts on aboriginal day but it’s only a pr stunt- under it all they are the most inhumane of people.
Obviously there is a lot to unpack here but simply put you are a victim of a hate campaign throughout that institution. Aside from legal options, what else can be done? We share, we like, we comment, we support. But is there any chance to salvage your reputation?

Your story reminds me of the Dreyfus trial—another “canary in the coal mine” moment that is being brushed aside far too easily. Is there no Canadian “Alan Dershowitz” in the entire country that is willing to take this to the Supreme Court? It is unfathomable that not a single law firm that claims a commitment to justice and truth is willing to defend the very principles that uphold a liberal democratic society, by taking your case.
