The evidence accumulated. Testimonies mounted and hostages spoke. The Silenced No More report answers what happened on Oct. 7. Why do so few in government, academia and the general public care?
Appreciate your consistent reminder and proofs of the atrocities that occurred on October 7th, 2023, and understanding of the enemies faced by Israel, and how this "hate the Zionist not the Jew" fabrication, in Canada, preceded the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. I was unaware until your essay that the St. Louis attempted to dock in Canada in 1939, and was turned away.
If I were going to lose my career over standing up against one event in my lifetime, this was a good one to pick, and I have no regrets. Thanks for your comments and for having the attention span to dig into my pieces. I am going to run one called “In Praise of Islamophobia” and one on “If Hitler had TikTok, we’d be speaking German” (deals with Israel) soon. Hope they do better than this one. But I’m starting to think that shaming orgs on antisemitism isn’t going to work; society has shifted, and their position is becoming mainstream.
You might be correct, but doesn't matter. If your goal is to convince morons or otherwise intelligent people, you will find yourself frustrated and disappointed. When I engage with such individuals I do so only because for some oddball reason I enjoy the exchange, or because I know the exchange frustrates them more than it does me. My goal is not to convince, it is to offer a different and more sane viewpoint.
Think about the lone holdout juror in the recently declared mistrial of lindsay clancy, who murdered her three children and then attempted a half hearted attack at suicide. He held firm despite what must have been much cajoling from the other 11 jurors. It seems they were more frustrated than he, despite them being in the majority.
Paul, I am so grateful to you for your moral clarity and bravery. We have friends of 45 years who will not even offer us empathy, let alone understand what has happened. It is painful indeed to see who one’s friends truly are. And then we find unexpected brave souls like you! I hope you know how extraordinary you are.
Thank you for your insights and for calling out the Canadian government for their ridiculous pandering to the Islamist narrative. With CBC’s help, they have managed to brainwash a large segment of the population.

I don’t think I’m brave, just an ordinary guy with a functioning conscience in a world gone mad.
