I'm crying. My mother died 12 years ago, my father 33 years. I not only still miss then, I miss them increasingly. My understanding of what they went through as parents and grandparents deepens and saddens me as time passes. I'm 71 myself now, I never knew that probably all old people carry this heavy loss in their hearts. It's not acknowledged at all.

Paul,

I'm proud of you!

What you did after your father died, it takes guts and lots of fake emotions to get up and show up to work and just act like nothing happened.

YOU DID GREAT!

You're allowed to feel. Emotions are meant to feel.

And its sad to hear that you had to go through all these.

Any human is allowed to grief whenever you're they are ready to.

Love,

Mehal

(You got me thinking that how will I manage myself after my parents death, because of course no one wants them to go away.)

thank you, sorry, I don't go back to this often and I didn't see the notes. I just don't want him to be forgotten, my love for him will never fade.
