A Journeyman certificate being based on actual hands on experience under guidance, supplemented by classroom theory , provides for a superior capability.
I and, my family, too have farmed and ranched, part of my life I value. A kid who has his ass drug from bed at 05:00 to get his chores done before breakfast and school, has very useful life experience.
Couple that with post secondary, a trade, and then a degree and you have a rare employment asset, in high demand, that will rise up through the ranks on competency and merit.
