The test is a great idea. not just for Muslims but anybody aspiring to join civil society. In fact some of those that consider themselves already part of civil society could use it. I see one problem with Muslims taking the test . They could easily pass this test using the Religion of Peace taqiyya concept which tells Muslims to lie and hide their Muslim identity under duress . They could easily consider the exam or, for that matter anything that civilized society requires of them, a duress .

I have a better idea. Let's just get rid of them.

Get rid of the ones that fail the test for sure

Today we need a positive approach for anyone who wants to call Canada home.

They need to embrace Canadian Values!

I think his points & presentation need to be clarified a bit more but it seems to be pretty fair to ask anyone who wants to live in an "open" society to commit to keeping it that way

The essay is pretty clear. There is no way the gov would force anyone to take the test though. The real point is that Islam is incompatible with Western values and the only Muslims who pass are those who deny their own scripture

Perhaps everyone should take a comparable test as part of their oath of allegiance.

That shouldn't be controversial!

Yes, the idea that you can’t murder someone for drawing a picture or leaving Islam shouldn’t be deemed unreasonable.
