I think the Alberta separatists have good reason to be pushing it. They did the 100% tariff before the election, got the votes, and now back off. Not sure he deserves praise for that. Trump will be fine on this.
As I have mentioned before, not sure if on this forum, Carney is simply acting for the typical Liberal supporter in Canada. I'm sure even he doesn't believe what he states. Liberal supporters and those on the fence are willing to suspend any belief and they'll ascribe any amount of credibility to Carney based on words because it's easier than analyzing carefully and looking at results.
