This article was so Triggering, I couldn’t finish it. My original plan was to simply replace a cracked kitchen tiled floor and maybe reface the 1987 cabinets. This became a full kitchen Reno, new floors through the main floor, new curved staircase (why just replace a staircase if it doesn’t look significantly different than the old staircase) new powder room and more.
Ten years years on it’s all been worthwhile…provided you used a qualified designer/contractor who hires only tested trades people.

A drop of dishwashing soap eliminates the surface tension so the fruit flies can’t float. It’ll make your wine traps more effective. Also, they may be gone, but they’ll be back: they produce new generations about every ten minutes.

I got rid of them. They really love bad white wine I discovered. Glass left out was full of them. High protein wine.
