My AHI was 107 for my first sleep study... The years since have been frustrating, because a CPAP is a prescription device, which inflates the costs along with our lungs. These doodads shouldn't cost as much as a good desktop computer. The last resmed i rented was malfunctioning and I couldn't cope and went back to my Philips one.
I’m 73. Push weights. Motion is the potion. I read this UK long term study that featured the ten second test. If you are 65 or older, stand on one foot for ten seconds. If you can do that, odds are 80% that you’ll be alive in 7 years: if not, 20% odds. Pushing weights is the best way to maintain muscle mass and not fall and break a hip.
If anyone here is religious, I would like to ask for prayers for my good friend Steve of Toronto, Ontario. He has a loving wife and son, he’s never smoked a day in his life, and he has 4th stage lung cancer.
Sleep LAB, yes, I know you didn’t ask. Also, no surgery recommendations for a septal deviation? Just an ex-nurse, annoying busybody here. I may not be paid for it anymore, but it’s terminal :)

I use ResMed
Dude, think of it as entering your Max Rebo phase! How cool is that?
Would that I were 60 again. Ahh, to be young.
I’ll be saying that soon. All I want to do is keep my health strong.

Cpap is giving me my youth back. More energy and vitality.
