Kill the Infidels quietly—The UN’s busy watching Gaza

The conscience of the world, if it ever existed, has been outsourced to algorithms and moral fashion shows.
If outrage were doled out by logic, we would see global protests over the charred remains of Nigerian churches and the hacked corpses of Christian children. But no—the world has moral attention deficit disorder. It sobs on cue for Gaza’s “martyrs,” those conscripted civilians caught between Israeli airstrikes and Hamas’s calculated depravity, yet offers not even a candlelight vigil for Nigeria’s slaughtered faithful.
Let’s not mince words: what’s happening in Nigeria is genocide. Not metaphorically, not potentially—actually.
Inspired by Koranic rage, Fulani militants, Boko Haram, and ISIS-West Africa have orchestrated a methodical campaign to extinguish Christians. These aren’t clashes. These are organized pogroms in which thousands are shot, raped, decapitated, or burned alive.
From 2009 to today, over 150,000 Nigerian Christians have been butchered. That’s not collateral damage. That’s ethnic cleansing.
Yet when Hamas fires from hospitals and schools, then sobs into its press conferences about the predictable retaliatory toll, the world throws up its arms. UN resolutions follow. Journalists furrow their brows. College students with Che t-shirts cry foul.
Why?
Because the Nigerian dead don’t fit the script.
They are the wrong colour, follow the wrong faith, and are murdered by the wrong kind of killers.
No white colonisers to blame.
But most importantly? The fraudulent sympathies of the West are not aroused because they cannot blame it on the Jews.
It’s just Islamists doing what Islamists do when nobody stops them.
Meanwhile, Israel—an actual liberal democracy surrounded by regimes whose human rights policies would make Torquemada blush—is cast as Voldemort by every hair-trigger activist with a WiFi connection. Why? Because, unlike Nigeria, Gaza plays better on camera. Because Hamas has mastered the choreography of grief: toddlers as props, rubble as a set, and the martyrdom narrative delivered in slick, hashtag-ready doses.
And because nothing fuels the West’s latent antisemitism like Jewish self-defence.
There is no Hamas in Nigeria to act as a shield and saboteur. No tunnels. No rocket arsenals under maternity wards. Just machetes, bullets, and the eerie silence of a world that would rather chant “Free Palestine” than utter the words “Save Nigerian Christians.”
They are slaughtered not for resisting occupation but for attending church or for being Christian.
